Three 5G Coverage Map

Three claims to be the fastest UK 5G network and it provides 99.8% of the outdoor population with 3G and 4G in the UK. 

In October 2020, Three was found to have 4G download/upload speeds on 22.2/8.0Mbps with 48.3ms 4G latency.

O2 5G Coverage Map

Nearly 99% of the outdoor population is covered by O2’s 3G and 4G. 

O2 provides a 4G download/upload speed of 18.2/6.2Mbps with a 4G latency of 38.1ms. 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G are all covered.

In terms of 5G, O2 is rapidly increasing their network and at the time of writing 5G was available in over 150 towns and cities in the UK.

Vodafone 5G Coverage Map

At the latest count 128 towns and cities across UK currently have access to 5G through the Vodafone network, with other G levels covering 99% of the population. 

In October 2020, Vodafone was found to have a 22.4/8.5 Mbps download and upload speed with a 39.0ms latency making the network second place.

EE 5G Coverage Map

EE’s service covers 5G - 2G however 3G and 2G might start to become more scarce due to the introduction of 5G. 

EE is continuing to roll out its 5G network and now covers 160 towns and cities in the UK and that number is planned to grow rapidly in the coming months and years.

4G, 3G and 2G currently covers 99% of the UK population. 

In October 2020 it was found the EE’s 4G download and upload speeds were 36.4/9.1Mbps bettering any other network.
